I really love this fantastic and really prestigious black and white competition!
This year I won the second place in fine art with my chiesina and two honorable mention and three nominees !

The New Hasselblad X2D Join my ALPACAMERA Community !

How versatile is this 100mpx camera on the Alpacameras bodies and the Alpagon lenses?It is really a joy working with this combination and the results are really amazing!
The perfect thing about this kind of combination is that you can use the electronic viewfinder to compose the images(really a great addition because with the alpacamera like the Pano 12 you can stitch a lot of images), is a lightweight combo when on the Alpa 12 TC and you can use it for reportage also freehand in aperture mode with a lot of detail and the stabilization of the X2D!
Isn't this incredible?
The sensor of the camera is backlighted , the colors are rich and very beautiful and the Alpagon lenses are really something special, real performers!
The one below is a 300 mpx shot I taken during my Tuscany workshop with the Alpa 12 MAX the Alpar 180 and the Hasselblad X2D with the X adaptor!If you need to better understand how it works you can join me for a special masterclass session where you can test on the field the entire ALPACAMERAS range !

Alpa 12 Max Alpar 180 Hasselblad X2D

I really enjoy this combination :you can take panoramic images looking trhu the viewfinder of the fantastic Hasselblad X2D , the process is so simple and creative, here a shot ( 3 vertical images stitched together ) taken @ my last Tuscany workshop in San Quirico D'Orcia!

New 23 Alpagon sb lens on the the Alpa 12 TC

I really must say this is a very sharp lens, like every Alpagon lens is an incredible piece of art!
I use it on my Alpa 12 TC and is a very compact system( such a set up is in many cases even more compact than a full frame 35 mm system with large format advantages), the quality is incredible and the precision and accuracy of focus is really of another world, I love this Swiss company!

I'll lead a Workshop at the end of February 2023 titled Winter Seascape,it will be held on the Tirreno coast of Tuscany into really pristine places like the Uccellina Park, it will be a must for who is in love with calm and ethereal winter seascape photography and want to learn more how to use the light to create some really interesting images, stay tuned soon the dates and all you need to book your place!

This end of August I was scouting the North Spain coast with my lovely Alpa12Pano , I saw a lot of beautiful place but I felt the need of taking different ratio images and of course my Alpapano and the fantastic Alpagon 90 support me with also 21 stitched images massive files ready to be printed really in a big way!Here some BTS and a final post produced of 7 stich images

Quest'anno tutto e' stato piu difficile a causa del virus covid 19,anche in un posto di natura come questo in Castelluccio di Norcia, un posto di una incredibile natura e incontaminazione, vigeva quasi il divieto di potersi spostare liberamente e poter fotografare senza venire controllato dalle forze dell'ordine , per questo motivo spesso mi domando se stiamo andando contro madre natura e se forse presto riusciremo a distruggere tutto ciò' che c'e' di bello in essa !
